How can I record payments that are pre-paid in advance?

In certain cases, your clients may want to prepay a certain amount upfront and have their future invoices draw from an account balance. In these cases, you can manually record a payment on the members profile as an account balance.

Recording Pre-payments

  1. Click on the Members tab on the left-hand navigation and select the appropriate member.

  2. Navigate to Payments tab on the member's profile and click Actions -> Post Payment.

  3. Specify the amount, payment method, and any notes, and click Post Payment. Ensure Auto Apply to Next Invoice is toggled on. This will ensure this payment gets automatically applied to future invoices.

  4. Invoices generated for this client will automatically pull this payment until this payment reaches $0, after which they will be billed as normal.
