How do group class drop-ins work?

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Drop-in enrollment lets a student sign up for a single session of a group class instead of committing to all sessions.

Enabling Drop-Ins

  1. On the group class, toggle Allow drop-in on and set a Drop-in price (per session). This price is required when drop-in is enabled. The setting lives on the service itself.

  2. When enabled, drop-ins are only available through a Self-Enrollment Form. In the form builder, under the Service & Payment Plan field settings:

    1. Show class calendar must be toggled on (required for drop-in; cannot be disabled when drop-in is active)

    2. Single session toggle must be on — this enables drop-in mode for the form

  3. You can allow both All sessions (full enrollment into the service/track) and Single session (drop-in) simultaneously, giving students the choice.

Client View

When a student opens the form:

  1. They see a session calendar (two-step UI)

  2. They pick a specific session

  3. If the form allows drop-in and the service has drop-in enabled, they're placed into drop-in mode — charged the per-session price

  4. If the student has enough banked credits to cover the session, the drop-in charge is $0
