Clearing Cache and Cookies (Desktop Browsers)
Last updated: June 1, 2026
Sometimes a page in Noto won't load correctly, gets stuck on the login screen, or shows outdated information. Most of the time, clearing your browser's cache and cookies fixes it.
Clearing your cache and cookies can fix website issues — like getting stuck on a login screen or a page that won't update.
The steps for desktop and mobile are similar, with a few differences. This guide covers desktop browsers. For phones and tablets, see our mobile guide.
Google Chrome (Desktop)
Open Google Chrome.
Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select Settings.
Go to Privacy and security, then click Delete browsing data.
Set the Time range to All time.
Check both Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
Click Clear data.
Important: Make sure the time range is set to All time — otherwise only recent data is cleared and the issue may not be fixed.
Menu names may change between Chrome versions. For the latest instructions, visit Google's Help Center.
Safari (Desktop)
Open Safari.
In the top menu bar, click Safari, then select Clear History.
Next to Clear, choose all history.
Click Clear History to confirm.
Important: Be sure to choose all history — this is what clears your cookies and cached files, not just recent ones.
Menu names may change between Safari versions. For the latest instructions, visit Apple's Help Center.
After clearing
Close and reopen your browser, then go back to Noto and log in again. The issue should be resolved.
